The activity of Fire Drill & Evacuation Drill

The Earthquake Evacuation and Fire Evacuation (Fire Drill) activity was conducted on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Sherwood Residence Apartment with the aim of training the readiness of the Emergency Response Team in the event of a fire, and also to train the readiness of Sherwood Residence occupants in facing the dangers of fire and earthquakes. The objectives of this Drill implementation are:

• To save as many people as possible from the dangers of fire.
• To evacuate safely and securely.
• To protect the environment without endangering people.
• To protect building assets without endangering others.

The activity was guided by Officers from the Jakarta Capital City Fire and Rescue Department.

The Fire Drill & Evacuation Drill activity includes simulation of earthquake events followed by a fire caused by electrical short circuits resulting from the earthquake, fire extinguishing exercises using Fire Extinguishers (APAR) and Hydrants. The practice location was on the 5th floor Roof Garden of Sherwood Residence.
